As a spear main in these type of games once I picked the Grand Lance I never switched to anything else. U can see i only got the requirement lvls for the weapon 22 str & 18 dex and it carried me through every encounter.

I loved this game so much. Easily my fav fromsoft title next to bloodborne. it's time to get that plat.
