Anyone from the Philippines can answer my questions? Best answer gets 800php. And Im also hiring.Thx.
Hello, I run a language center in China and has over 130000 followers(mainly students and parents) on Chinese tiktok.
I'm currently exploring the Filipino ESL industry and would really appreciate your insights. I have a few questions:
- I saw somebody working at 51Talks posted her salary mentioning that she earned 6,340 PHP for 80 hours of work. Would you guys consider that rate normal, low, or very low in the ESL industry today? What is the average rate nowadays?
- Are there any Facebook groups, communities, or platforms that are particularly active? Because i would like to hire english teachers myself.
- I'm also curious about 51Talk. What teaching materials do teachers usually use there? Are the lesson materials web-based only, or can they be downloaded?
- If a teacher leaves the company and starts teaching independently, what curriculum or speaking materials do they usually use with students? And where can i get the materials?
I'm happy to send whoever i think the answer is most valuable 800 PHP for your time and insights.
Thank you very much!
And by the way, If anybody is interested in co-working with me, Please send a demo class video and resume to my email, thx!
If you are an experienced esl english teacher (for kids), i can provide good income for you. Even the student is no-show, there is no penalty.
