Have your wife ask the employees if the store has Pokemon!
Just a random blurb. (Horrible grammar I know, be nice)
I understand that scalping is getting insane. That being said, I’m a dude, 6’2 250, I can be disheveled, but I’m married and happy, sue me. But this does not mean that every time I ask if your store has Pokemon in stock, you can just vent all of your scalper frustrations on me. I’m being nice, I’m asking how your day is going, with genuine intentions. I know there probably isn’t any left, and I’d be willing to indulge in a little self deprecation in joking about me being a grown man asking about kids trading cards.
Everytime my wife has asked on the other hand, it’s been a kind smile, and a very descriptive explanation on when the store restocks, and what to do to try and get her hands on some.
So long story short men, you guys are good to be the ones waiting in line, driving to the ends of the earth getting your hands on product for the wife and kids, but for gods sakes have your wife ask employees about anything you need regarding Pokemon ever.
(TLDR, if you’re an average dude employees are mean when you ask about Pokemon cards, have your wife do it.)
