I'm getting to the point with my knitting where I would like to try writing my own patterns. Is there any good software for this? Anything you can use on desktop (rather than app-based)? Or are we on pen and paper still?

My 20 month old has always been very easy going and calm which I put down to her good routine and secure attachment to me, her dad and her childminder.
When she was younger my mum - who lives a few hours away - would come to visit, or we would visit her and this didn’t seem to disrupt much.
However recently we went to visit her and she was really obsessed with grandma, which in some ways was nice to see because they don’t get much time together. However her temperament also seemed to change and she started having so many tantrums, and not settling to activities in the same way.
I thought it was cause we were out of routine, but now we’re back home it seems like this change might be permanent. She’s never been clingy with me before but now she seems to be, and she’s rejecting her dad. But when she’s clinging to me she very often starts asking for her granny.
I’m wondering if she’s formed some kind of insecure attachment to my mum? When she visits/we visit her she helps a lot with parenting duties to give me a break, and my daughter does seem attached to her, but it’s only every now and again and usually for a few days, maximum a week. So maybe the inconsistency is not good? Maybe when we visit I should ask my mum to take more of a back seat? That seems really sad to me though. There’s no chance of us visiting more often.
Or maybe she’s just entering the so-called terrible twos and it’s a co-incidence that the change lined up with our visit?
