I got eic in round 1 even tho my percentile is enough to get evd branch, it was a preference fuck up.

1.) Anyways but now i am really confused if i don't take pay the locking fee will they consider me for round 2 and 3.

2.) and is upgradation process and subsequent rounds 2 and 3 are different or the upgradation happens in subsequent rounds itself?? like are they both different processes or same ?

3.) how many spot rounds are there? is everyone who filled form for tiet are eligible in spot round or only the ones who locked their seat are eligible?

please please someone explain me the whole counselling process in detail, i will more than thankful to you guys, this is very important for me.

this is a request to all seniors please give a detailed review for eic branch only if placement is concerned. i will take 10 lakhs loan. i only want good 15lpa+ type placement. i have a option of jiit which is near my home i will most prolly get cse in sec 128 in that. i have to decide between thapar eic and cse in jiit 128.
please tell how much hard work i have to put on in this branch to get good placement.

Is placement scenario of this branch good ( like 12-13 lpa type offer)?
