I (38M) am having issues with my (38F) gf who’s got double standards issues and has been going through my phone (locked electronics policy, one side)
My girlfriend (38F) recently went through my phone yet again. She has had a password on her phone since we met. Last week I went to bed leaving my phone out. She took my phone and went through it. She found a text with a female friend from work who had a room for rent. We had been breaking up and getting back together over and over. This time it seemed serious and I thought she was actually moving. This person at work had been looking for a roommate and told many people. I understood she was hurt and apologized and explained. Agreed not to talk to this girl in the future. She said electronics stayed closed and if I could figure out her password it was free game but she wouldn’t give it willingly. She had a trip to AK for work coming up and it went over a weekend or she’d have to travel a Thursday into Friday and then return on a Sunday for Monday. When she was in Anchorage she told me she was planning day trips to pass the time. These day trips were either Homer or Seward. I didn’t know why but I came to find out these were heavily military towns. Coast guard for one of them. Her best friend’s boyfriend is in the coast guard and she’s never told them anything but the worst about me so I’ve always been insecure about it, but mostly the electronics and other double standards. She swears up and down she’s doing nothing and I’m crazy etc. I feel like an idiot, not sure if I am just insecure and crazy or if this is obvious. Help. Is this all enough to be this suspicious?
