Looking for a cynical therapist (defined as: critical thinking, strong identity, and less theory based)
Hi! I've been in therapy for 15+ years and have had many a great therapist.
However, I'm looking for a therapist for people who are not dealing with any challenges or affective issues? The issue is I've encountered a majority of therapists I've seen focus mainly on theory and have little critical insight.
I'm looking to find someone who is practical, critically thinking, and competent. They don't rely on theory, ideally because they see the limitations in category theory (the basis of current academic reasoning). I'd prefer an older therapist, but I'm not that picky on any demographics.
Odd request - hope someone knows what I'm talking about.
