Is it worth converting never produced theatre play to film script?
I wrote a two act biographical play of Emily Dickinson but it’s proven very difficult to get it staged. I’m aware of several films about Dickinsons life, each very different from the other. What do you advise about turning a play of this type into a film? With no budget, can I learn the craft of filmmaking myself? How to get viewers etc?
