VA claim after higher level review was denied but can't understand the why
Hello there, so claim was denied and the reasoning from what I understand is it's not service connected. But at the end of the reasoning paragraph it mentions I need to have a current disability, evidence while in service and medical evidence of a nexus to link them.
And in order to be service connected has to have a qualifying event or injury in service, a nexus or link between in service and claim then diagnosed with disability.
In the paragraphs and in the evidence section it mentions these things. But under the evidence it doesn't specifically say a nexus letter just private medical records. Is that what's causing the reason for denial or am I missing something critical. And if so what else do I need?
