This is my little girl ashoka. Shes almost 3 years old and her sister died about a month ago. This morning i went to go feed her and i noticed a huge tumor on her side.

This is the first time i even notice it. Thursday i took her out of her cage to clean it, and i played and cuddled with her for a long time. I try to spend a lot of time with her, because her sister died recently. I noticed nothing. She was active like she always is and i didnt notice any bumps. Friday and saturday i wasnt home a lot. My mom always gives her treats and feeds her while im away, she also plays with her. We’ve been feeding her a lil extra lately cuz she was getting pretty skinny. My mom also noticed nothing. Ive also just noticed theres blood on my blanket. I believe its coming from her urethra. Last week i also noticed her stuggling a little while getting in her hammock, but when i searched it up it just seemed common with older rats.

My problem right now is that the vet i always go to is closed cuz its sunday. I only have a bike, and there are no other vets that treat rats open right now that i can reach with my bike or public transport. My vet is only open for emergencies. I dont know if this could be concidered an emergency. Also my guess is that they will just euthenize her. Shes old, quite skinny and the tumor is huge.

I feel so so so terrible right now and i havent stopped crying. Im still upset about her sister dying aswell. I feel like a terrible mom for not noticing anything earlier. My question is, should i just wait till tomorrow? I can just spend the rest of the day cuddling with her and go to the vet tomorrow, if she survives the night? I honestly think thats the better idea. I would just like some advice.
