CEPT or NID/Ahmedabad for B.Des

I am a fresher and am confused between cept and nid ahmedabad. my major concerns are placements and industry reach of d college. i am preparing for nid dat and am open to giving other entrance exams as well. pls share your insights on it and also share some tips and tricks to prepare for it.
