Just purchased the script for the first 3 episoes of HoL and am wondering how everyone things the script relates to the original book... There are some obvious differences (namely, the addition of characters and the change from book to film). The script also seems to answer some underlying questions founded by the book. Do we think the script relates directly to the book, or are they completely seperate?

Curious to know everyone's opinions!

Just finished HoL and am going down multiple rabbit holes about different interpretations. One thing I'm stuck on is Navidson reading House of Leaves... what are some theories behind this? Why is he reading the same book that we supposedly are reading? Or does it just have the same title?

I've seen people say the check mark in one of the early chapters changes the ending of the whole book... what does this exactly mean?

I understand that it references his mother's letter, but I am not sure what it is doing in the chapter.

Just finished House of Leaves and am itching to watch a video essay that examines the multiple layers of the narrative that I may have missed/glossed over... All the videos I'm finding are either simple retrospectives or book reviews. Does anyone have any recs?
