Alpharetta Rental Owners: Do You Use a Property Management Company for Repairs or Handle Them Yourself?
Hey everyone!
For those of you who own rental properties in Alpharetta, do you use a property management company to handle repairs and maintenance, or do you manage everything yourselves?
We've been self-managing for years and have handled most repairs ourselves, especially things like appliance issues, which are usually pretty straightforward. However, as the property gets older and multiple maintenance issues pop up at the same time, it's becoming harder to coordinate everything and find reliable contractors when we need them.
We're trying to decide whether it makes sense to continue managing repairs ourselves or hire a management company to handle maintenance coordination.
For those who have made the switch, was it worth the cost? If you still self-manage, how do you find and keep good contractors on hand?
