2023 Toro Intimidator SXS extreme fuel flooding
Hello all, as the title says a friend's side by side is having cranking issues. It's the Kohler ECH370 motor I'm getting extreme flooding of the cylinders to the point where a heavy fuel oil mix is spraying out of a crack in the bridge pipe of the exhaust manifold while trying to crank. Remove the plugs and turn it over to evacuate the cylinders and the driver side cylinder with the low pressure diaphragm pump in the valve cover seems to have the bulk of the fuel in it. I've removed and checked the diaphragm for holes with a bright light but it seems to be ok. So... What next, high pressure fuel pump/pressure regulator gone bad? I've also heard stuck injector or bad oxygen sensor. Anyone here seen this and what order would you check things to rule out components. Not sure if this motor had a common failure of a particular fuel system component that would cause this issue. Once I get the fuel dumping/flooding issue fixed it'll be a full oil change before I turn it loose
