Hello. I am a prospective first time home buyer looking at a house to buy. The listing calls it a multi-family, and it is zoned B 3 General Commercial. The upper level is an single apartment unit, the main floor is a commercial space, and it has a basement. I talked to someone from Rocket Mortgage, and he said that getting a loan for this property would be difficult. For clarification, I would be living in the apartment section, and may eventually start a business on the main floor. Any ideas on where I could get a loan? Thanks!
