Hi, I lived abroad for a while and I found an app called NomadTable.

I thought it was something interesting to share, especially since it could work well in Italy too.

It’s for finding people to do stuff with in real life: running, going out for drinks or food, hiking, or any other activity. You can create an event or join existing ones.

It’s mainly designed for digital nomads, but actually anyone who wants to go out and do something with other people can use it. There are already a few users in Italy, but mostly they are foreign tourists.

Different fasting rules

Hi, I wanted just to ask, because i feel like im cheating.

I was attending a Russian Orthodox Church while living in Asia, following old calendar rules but moved to another place in Europe and here is Romanian church with different calendar.

In the russian orthodox church the fasting is supposed to be 5 weeks.

But in the romanian orthodox is only 3 weeks.

Why is there this difference? I feel like im cheating, because if i continues living there i would follow the older calendar. And im skipping 2 weeks.

But my priest told me once, that i should follow the calendar of the church im attending.
