Children's picture books inspired by millennial music
Hello everyone - We’ve been building a series of children’s picture book stories, named You’re Not Alone, focused on helping kids feel more comfortable with big emotions and more confident being themselves. Each story is inspired by the music many millennial parents grew up with, weaving in subtle lyrical and visual nods, reimagined in a way that feels both nostalgic and new.
The idea came from thinking about how our kids experience worry and self-doubt. We wanted to create something that felt gentle and reassuring, without being overly heavy or preachy. Our goal is to create stories kids can connect with, and moments parents can share.
The first story, The Night Parade, was released today and follows a character named Jerry as he navigates those quieter, tougher moments after things don’t go his way, and learns how to carry on.
