Experiencing reduced semen volume after temporary urinary symptoms – anyone had something similar?
I'm 27M Last Saturday, I went to a café. At that time, I noticed that I was urinating more frequently than usual, and the café was also very cold.
After returning home, I developed a mild fever of around 37.3°C (99.1°F).
From Sunday morning until Tuesday morning, especially after waking up, I had difficulty urinating even though my bladder felt full. However, this problem would improve by the afternoon and evening each day.
What worried me more happened on Tuesday night. During sex, I noticed that I produced very little or almost no semen during ejaculation, even though the sensation of ejaculation felt completely normal.
For additional context, before that Tuesday, the last time I had ejaculated normally was the previous Thursday, so there had been about 5 days without ejaculation.
From Wednesday morning onward, my urination gradually returned to normal. I no longer had difficulty urinating in the morning or after holding my urine for a long time.
However, on Thursday night, when I ejaculated again, the amount of semen was still very low or almost absent.
Now it has been about 2 weeks since the initial symptoms started. My urination is completely normal again, and semen is now present when I ejaculate, but the volume is still noticeably lower than it used to be. The ejaculation also seems weaker and does not project as forcefully as before.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did you find out what caused it, and did it eventually return to normal? Any insights or advice would be appreciated.
