I'm about to go into my last year at Stony Brook and have found only one person who reads at all seriously, despite actively searching for others. I'm not in the English department, so I'm sure I've missed some small coven of Serious Readers, but it feels a bit ridiculous that so few people read. Does anyone know any universities where this is not true? Where there is a body of students who read that isn't vanishingly small? Preferable if it has a math grad school... also if you're at Stony Brook let me know
