My girlfriend and I are planning to do parts of the Cape Wrath trail this year in early August.
Our plan is starting in Glenfinnan, hiking via Inverie and Barrisdale Bay, but instead of going on to Craig, we'd take a shortcut to Strathcarron.

We plan on averaging about 20k per day, so we're planning on 6-7 days on the trail and are packing food and supplies accordingly. Our last trek was in Sweden from Storlien to Vålådalen with a similar length of time and distance, with temperatures of ~2°C - 10°C and winds of up to 80kph. Thankfully, our Hilleberg Nallo GT kept us safe through all of that.

As this is our first time hiking in the UK, we'd love to get some tips from the community as to what to expect and what to look out for.
