Someone please analyze these dog symptoms (she ate a tiny sliver of onion)
My dog has been acting very lazy and hasn’t been eating her breakfast (egg). She also is not eating her Kirkland brand turkey food (her dinner) and is only eating treats and apple. She ate a tiny sliver of onion a few hours ago but the laziness was already there since the past 2 days with not eating breakfast and dinner. Now tonight she has been quivering occasionally when resting with this sound in the video (PFA video for reference). we’re very scared and would appreciate any suggestions or advice on this. Thanks in advance to each one of you.
edit - the vet did a physical exam, checked gum colour, heart rate and breath rate (all normal for now). she recommended blood work which we are now getting done. told her all the symptoms to which she replied that it’s actually reassuring than alarming. she also suggested that it could be mild stomach ache and it’s very unlikely that the onion is causing this since it takes days and not hours for the onion to cause issues. we are now monitoring her as per her instructions for the next 1-5 days. To all the people that are concerned that we are bad pet parents, you guys do not know what she was going through when we adopted her from her previous owners. We genuinely care about her and love her. A lot of you do not have enough context about this situation but i assure you that she is being taken care of. Thanks to the kind people that actually provided genuine support, advice and reassurance to this matter instead of being rude or condescending.
