Im a girl & am Planning to join MTech CSE at VIT Vellore, have a few doubts, would appreciate help from seniors 🙂↕️
1. Hostel allocation
How is hostel allocation actually done for freshers?
The website mentions that the Freshers Portal opens around late June for hostel selection, but I saw some comments saying it’s offline and FCFS Which one is correct?
2. Best hostel block for girls
If hostel selection is online and we get to choose, which block would you recommend : D/F block or S block (deluxe)?
I’d love to know the pros/cons in terms of room quality, Wi-fi,maintenance, crowd, distance frm other blocks etc
- Do all blocks have indian & western washrooms or is that also specific to the block
4. Strictness / malpractice rules
I’ve read quite a few posts about VIT being very strict regarding exams and malpractice issues. Is it the same for M.tech too
- Its a bit silly but man are FRUITS available here, not fruit juices.
6.Anything a girl should absolutely know?
As a girl joining VIT, is there anything about the hostel or college culture that will help knowing before hand ?
