Has anyone else seen Caleb look directly at the camera while sitting in the café?

I’m trying to figure out if this is a rare idle/wake-up animation or a glitch. I got these two screenshots back-to-back with the same dialogue bubble up.

In the first he’s looking down at the tablet/book, then in the next he looks forward almost directly at the camera. I’ve been trying to replicate it and haven’t been able to.

Has anyone else seen this specific seated café animation?

Ive tried to replicate it but have had no luck....
