Fixed a 12 year old Oster Kitchen Center
12 years of fairly heavy use (grinding and blending for Indian cooking). Many parts and gaskets and jars were replaced along the way - decent modular design. Decided to upgrade to a more powerful after the switch gave out (last picture is the faulty switch).
Lucked out with a switch replacement at Ace hardware. Some basic soldering and assistance from Claude later, this blender is roaring again.
This might be the last small appliance that can still be repaired at home. This blender is going to a new home soon!
