So I tried to log in to my Azure account from Window$ after a few months away ....

1. Setup account with third party password manger

2. Go away

3. Come back: first thing that breaks - 2FA - I now MUST use Microsoft app

4. Some time goes by

5. My third party stored password key stops working. Windows Hello keeps popping up and won't go away

6. Some time goes by

7. Can now log in with my password manager pass key ... but 2FA still broken

All this auth crap makes it UNSAFE to buy any online services from MICROSOFT. You never know when you will permanently loose access ... and some services are auto-billing so there may be LAWSUITS in the future.
