Found near tributary of Coosa River. Greyish green and light brown with a brassy/gold sheen. Medium coarse, the fracture on one side reveals some very small silicate crystals, probably quartz. Layers, but not as brittle or easily chipped as a slate. Haven't done scratch test yet. Phyllite?
