Please help! I bought these and totally forgot what type of hydrangeas they are. I recently moved them. I’m in zone 7. I’ve been watering them frequently and so far they are doing ok. I planted them near a climbing iceberg white rose.

I’m pretty sure it’s RRD but I wanted to double check with you all before trashing it. It’s so disheartening because she has so many buds. And yes she is covered in lantern flies. They are unavoidable here and haven’t found a solution about how to kill them.
I thought it was new growth but the many thorns and the fact that it’s been weeks and the new growth hasn’t turned green makes me think it’s RRD.
