Leaf cutter bees?

Sorry my pictures aren’t great, but do these look like leaf cutter bees? If not, does anyone know what they are? In southeast US

Suburban mothing /light sheeting

I’ve been mothing with the pictured set up in our back yard with just a white light the past few weekends without seeing much. I ordered this uv light that should get here tomorrow so I’m hoping that will attract more species. So far we’ve seen a few small brown and grey moths, which is great but hoping to see some silk moths - I live in Georgia, U.S. and I’ve seen some in past years so I assume they are around. Would love any suggestions for improving our set up :) wish me luck for this weekend!

Hi all! I have a good friend who joined Starfish Perks this week (and subsequently asked me if I would be interested). The owners’ MLM history and the recruitment model were enough for me to not even consider joining and I really want to try to talk her out of it. She already know the owners have a history in MLMs and acknowledged that it has *some* MLM characteristics but is convinced that there is no real way to lose money as long as she spends $100/month through the app and so there is no harm in joining. I can’t find a lot of info about starfish perks online or any real complaints from people who have been a part of it, just lost of people saying it sounds super sus - but I think the most recent iteration of the company is only 2-3 years old. Does anyone have any real info about this program that might be helpful talking points with my friend? I don’t think general info about MLMs will be helpful because she seems to think this is meaningfully different than an MLM
