i haven't ever really watched anime (the only title i've ever finished is Serial Experiments Lain) but i'd like to get into it. my tastes are a little unconventional, i'd like to watch something edgy/patho-psychological/surrealist like:

• johnny the homicidal maniac <-- big points for style on this one also
• haunted by chuck palanhuik
• maniac (the movie) or anything by cronenberg
• later issues of oyasumi punpun, it's not very surreal but i really really like the psychological horror/abusive relationship in it

i'm also really turned off by pantyshots/fanservice.. which is one of the reasons i've never tried to watch anime

is there any anime like this? thanks in advance ☺️
