For me it’s little routine things… the way they settle, how they eat, when they relax (that sight they make).

It made me realise how hard it is for someone else to fully replicate that just like that

Not in a bad way, just… different routines, different energy.

I’ve noticed mine adapt pretty quickly, but I always wonder if they feel a bit out of sync when I’m not there

I feel like I try to explain everything in 5 minutes before I leave, even after having a whole PDF with instructions...

Food, routines, little habits, what’s ‘normal’ for them…

But I always walk away feeling like I forgot something important.

Curious what others prioritise

I’ve been travelling with mine full-time, so we’re together constantly. But the few times I’ve had to leave them with someone else, I feel it straight away.

They’re usually fine… but I’m the one thinking about their routine, if they got their walk the same way, if they’re settling properly.

Curious if anyone else feels like this or if it’s just me?
