Unequal inheritance battle

I need some view from outside the box hence why I’m posting.

My grandfather who we and extended family had severed ties to 20 years ago (a complicated man who the family didnt like due to his actions and mental state, who didnt get along even with his children) passed away 1,5 years ago.

He left an inheritance where the grandfather skipped his children (my father and aunt) completely and divided ~800k€ wealth (land, apartment, savings) between grandchildren. My father and aunt both get 50% divided between them anyway (its the law that cant be ignored by will) Grandchildren 1 (cousin)gets ~600k, 2 (me) whatever else he owns, ended up being 15k, 3 (my sister) gets 60k, 4 (cousin 2) gets 15k (same terms as me) and 5 (youngest cousin 3) around 100k. Figures are rough and not exact.

Before signing to accept inheritance terms grandchildren 1 didnt want any money, after discussion whole extended family agreed that the money would be divided equally between all grandchildren. With this verbal (in hindsight definitely should’ve had lawyer present or have a written agreement) agreement, we signed the terms.

Grandchildren 1 has changed their mind shortly after signing the will, and my aunt aswell both deny that any verbal agreement have been made and they’ve never heard of it. My father wouldnt have signed the terms if this decision would’ve been made before signing.

A police report (fraud) has been made, but police dont suspect any crime so that led to nothing. Verbal agreement is as binding as a written one (though harder if not impossible to prove) in my country (Finland)

Should my side of the family just accept this is how it goes or is there anything else to do? Both sides have lawyers that haven’t really been useful other than commucation between parties.

Whats the out of the box view reddit can offer?
