How's it going everyone.

I have a question since I noticed my truck leaking near the transmission and oil filter(sorry can't remember the name). My mechanic said it's an expensive job to do since he would have to remove the whole transmission and would normally cost around $1200. The other thing is the New piece that would be coming is brand new with I guess it's the whole kit It would normally come with, he said that alone is around $215 is that true? Because I looked up online a rear main seal for my truck which is a Chevy Silverado 1500 2013 is around 29-80 dollars. I just wanted to know if I'm paying the right amount and not being scammed.

Hence the total would be $1415.
