A used Felt TT bike, opinions?

Alright people, let’s get it straight. I have a road bike that is good, I used it for sprint triathlons and my regular rides. Now, they are offering me a used, still in great conditions, Felt TT bike with everything! Of course, it’s kind of an older ish model, but still rides like crazy for $1,500. Now I understand, I really don’t need a TT bike for an iron man, though is recommended. But I feel that this person is being very generous and selling his bike for a reasonable price. Apparently, he bought it for $4,000 few years ago. What do you think?

Should I use a TT bike for a 70.3 and a full?

Did my first sprint triathlon and it was amazing! I’m proud of the effort and my official time (1:30:05)! But this is his the beginning. My buddy and I want to do an Olympic and then a 70.3 in Puerto Rico. We both own a road bike (I own a Bianchi and he owns a Giant). We heard that we don’t need a TT bike for a 70.3 or a full, but it is highly recommended! What do you guys think? And what brand? Thanks!
