2 hours for food delivery

At first I saw in the app that the driver will handle two deliveries at once. and I saw him in fact leaving the restaurent and delivering the first order.

My question is why do they do this ? i'm not blaming the driver as he is just assigned with the tasks and in difficult weather conditions.

What do the company gain from this ? and I have a premium membership so i did claim my money back in their wallet or whatever. but it's just bad service. and it happens a lot.

I know most of you noticed the behavior of some drivers when trying to change the lane. As soon as you turn on the signal, the driver behind you in that lane accelerates to close the gap and prevent you from changing. That move in itself does not benefit anyone and is annoying.

I recently starting taking advantage of that and started basically baiting ppl to accelerate. whenever i need to create a gap, i just bait the person on the side to accelerate and then go behind him. and honestly sometimes I do it just for fun to give them the false feeling of accomplishment they get when not letting me pass.

On a serious note, If we want the roads to have less traffic, we need to be cooporative in the roads. If someone has to brake to switch lanes and the cars behind brake as well it creates a blocked lane out of nothing just because the gap got closed by an instinct of "me see signal me accelerate".
