My co worker recently was diagnosed with CHS (Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome) and he’s only a couple years older then me (I’m 20) and I started smoking carts at 16, I did it for a couple years while taking little to no tolerance breaks, if you add up all the time of my
Tolerance breaks across 3 years of cart use it would probably add up to 2 or 3 months. When I turned 19 my mom and dad moved away so I completely switched to regular flower. I would smoke cones with no grabba that came in the 6 pack raw cone pack (1 1/4 size each) I smoked half of the cone in the day time and the second half at night time. I can make a 3.5 last a week. My
Mom and dad are here for 4 months and I’m back on carts til they leave but ik the carts have a high risk of triggering CHS. I wake up in the morning fine, I recently took a 5 day break because of being scared of getting it and now I’m back on it cause I just missed getting high and I told myself this is my last cart and might just take a break up until they leave so my THC bucket in my system can reset to empty. I see a lot of people on Reddit that smoke less then me and have gotten it but they all share similar things, they use the weed as medicine for when they’re nauseas or not really feeling an appetite. I feel like when I’m sick or nauseous I try to stay away from weed as much as a I can. Some of my tolerance breaks have actually came from me getting sick. But I rarely ever get sick and I’m just very scared of ever getting CHS because of my emetophobia and my fear of never being able to get high ever again, I don’t drink so weed is my only way of feeling something other then normal so it would suck if this was stripped from me. Do you think with my history of cart use that I should be worried? Or that I’m in need of a long break? I’m open to any questions and respond quick.
