First garment question!! Distinct change in look of stitches
Hi all! I just recently learned how to knit and just finished my first garment!!!!! This is Petite Knit‘s Novice Slipover. My question though is why there is an obvious line in my knitting under the arms? The stitches look a little rough at the top and then obviously get cleaner at the part of the pattern where you work in the round in stockinette for the full body. What did I do wrong? How I can fix this for the future? Assuming I can’t fix this for this project?
