I was in a car accident, other persons fault. I’m financing the car. It’s a total loss to his insurance company. They want to settle, if I keep the car the lender gets $4,000 and use it towards the balance or towards the repairs, but they want to use it towards the balance, if I don’t keep it the lender gets 6,000 and I have to pay the remaining balance. I did not have gap insurance 😒 so either way I have a car that I have to repair and continue paying it. or don’t have a car and still have to pay for it.
