Just had my mortgage offer accepted today 🥳
I’m just shocked at how quick it all happened:
27/04/26 - Offer accepted on house.
28/04/26 - Mortgage broker and solicitors instructed.
30/04/26 - AIP secured from HSBC - 4.89%, fixed for 5 years and 90% LTV.
01/05/26 - Mortgage application submitted. £999 application fee (paid upfront) with £750 cashback incentive.
04/05/26 - Mortgage offer accepted. No extra information requested at all over weekend and offer acceptance sent through today (Bank holiday).
I guess now it’s just the long wait for solicitors to do their legal stuff!
EDIT: Just saw I made a mistake. It’s 4.89% NOT 5.89%
