Can I reuse “new” soil from dead plants at a store?

For context I work at a grocery store and we have a large floral section so we get a large amount of annuals, perennials, and Bonnie vegetables/herbs in those small cups.

There are some flowers (I think hydrangeas or something like that) which didn’t get watered enough and have died and gone crunchy. They are in slightly bigger pots that might be a good step up from the cups, I’m wondering if I can use the soil in those pots after cleaning out the dead plant/roots to save myself some money on potting soil for my herbs & tomatoes?

Spilled soda down gear shifter 💀 how to clean after removing panel?

Of course the one time I had a can of soda, my grip slipped and it spilled down the gear shifter and over the side of the console. Guess what I’ll be doing instead of going to the pool this afternoon! 🤦‍♀️ I looked on Google and YouTube and the instructions to take apart that area including the cupholders is a video for 2007-2012 Toyota Tundra by “Four2Nine Productions” but the placement of that console seems really similar to my 2nd Gen (2018) Sequoia.

Once I get the panel removed and clean everything out, is there anything further I can do to ensure inside the gearshift itself is clean?

That was funny and even though you were dying of hunger and thirst by waiting for the first dinosaur to approach the carcass, I appreciate your commitment to the bit. We went to find water but you said you probably wouldn’t make it so I said if you died before we got there I would finish the journey for both of us. And look at us, we did it. 🥹
(And yes I did eat you but not until after I laid you to rest at the shoreline like I promised.)
