[US] Dr. Frank success hub scam

Hello- cross posted on other (psychology) groups to make it more visible

I am posting this on reddit so it comes up as a Google search because unfortunately my friend in Canada was scammed by Dr. Frank success hub. She gave me permission to post because she does not have reddit.

She mentioned being in a Facebook group for a boards exam that posted about how amazing his program is. She contacted him via the number he advertises that I can't post here per the rules

She said he needed money via apple pay, chime, or wire transfer. Around 600 and he would guarantee her passing with whatever study materials they offered. She sent it via apple pay. He then sent some sort of PDF or attachment that she said was locked or something? And he told her that he needed an extra over 1000 to unlock it.

She said he even called her asking for the money and on the phone was some guy with broken English saying he would refund her as soon as he gave her the password. This is when she refused and blocked him, tried to contact apple pay/her bank and obviously regretted it.

Please be kind and don't bash her or anything. That's not helpful and also I would love to not be spammed with that on her behalf. She mentioned that the ads seemed neuro divergent friendly study help. Stay safe everyone!

[USA] Dr. Frank success hub eppp studying

Hello- cross posted on other psychology groups to make it more visible

Dr. Frank's success hub

She gave me permission to post because she does not have reddit. She mentioned being in a Facebook group for the EPPP (I am not set to take it yet so idk which one) that posted about how amazing his program is. This is her second time retaking it, I believe, and she's tried a few programs with no luck. She stumbled upon this one and contacted him via (561) 475-7455. He promised assistance or materials or something, and this next thing should have been a red flag for her but from what I've heard the studying for the exam is a lot. And maybe others have done their research and noticed he was a scam, but she said she didn't find anything negative online, hence why I am making this post.

She said he needed money via apple pay, chime, or wire transfer. Around 600 and he would guarantee her passing with whatever study materials they offered. She sent it via apple pay (yes, big mistake!) He then sent some sort of PDF or attachment that she said was locked or something? And he told her that he needed an extra over 1000 to unlock it because it was supposedly the questions to the exam, not study guides. She said he even called her asking for the money and on the phone was some guy with broken English saying he would refund her as soon as he gave her the password. This is when she refused and blocked him, tried to contact apple pay/her bank and obviously regretted it. I have Android so idk how apple pay works- if they have something like Venmo does to protect purchases, but I imagine there probably isn't much they can do? I told her to report the group and stuff but just posting to protect anyone else who is vulnerable or looking into his stuff.

Please be kind and don't bash her or anything. That's not helpful and also I would love to not be spammed with that on her behalf(I am in the US and she is in Canada, that is why I put USA as the code). She wasn't trying to cheat, just trusted in something that was clearly a scam. She mentioned that the ads seemed neuro divergent friendly study help. Stay safe everyone!
