Office hours of ministry
Hey all, we're heading to MP next weekend with 3 friends and trying to nail down logistics around the new walk-up system that launched May 6.
Our Situation:
* Group of 4, no online tickets
* Train arrives Aguas Calientes Saturday, May 16, at 5:02 PM
* Want to enter MP Monday, May 18
* Train back out Tuesday, May 19, at 8:53 AM
Under the new 3-day system (pre-ticket → buy → enter), this only works if we can grab a pre-ticket number from the Ministerio de Cultura office Saturday evening right after our train arrives. If the office is closed by then, our timeline slides into Tuesday and we miss MP entirely before our train.
Questions for Recent Visitors:
Has anyone been there in the last week or two and can confirm:
* What time does the office close on Saturdays?
* Is the office handing out pre-ticket numbers all day, or only in the morning?
* If we arrive ~5:15 PM Saturday, is there a realistic shot at still getting a number?
