he wont fucking LEAVE he just SITS AT MY BASE AND STARES AT IT. he's been at this for hours

was doing a checkup on my guys when I found this one

he has been removed from the main cage and is now quarantined in a jar

im like 90% sure he is very dead but I could also have just caught him at a bad time pupating maybe? He is very solid and is very compact right now.

they are yellow striped armyworms in case an ID is needed to figure out what’s going on with this one.

If he is dead, I would like to give him a little funeral and bury him somewhere.

ALSO: this is NOT the same caterpillar from my previous post here, the little dude with the disability is still doing very well.

found this guy today. he is able to eat (he has a very big appetite) and poop, but whenever he moves he just drags his lower half behind him. It looks like he got stuck in something and it’s been constricting him. Maybe a failed molt? He’s too small for me to get a better look or try to remove whatever's causing the problem cause I don’t want to hurt him.

Does anybody have any advice? I don’t want him to die or his injury to affect his quality of life. I have a rearing cage that I spray daily with two other caterpillars, but I’m hesitant to move him in there because he could climb and fall.
