Digital Grading Co App. Am I Doing Something Wrong?
Above are a couple cards I put through the Digital Grading Co app. I can't seem to get very clear photos of the fronts of my card (Samsung S24 Ultra). I figured that hopefully that doesn't matter too much when it comes to the grading app's capabilities. I'm suspicious the app isn't grading my cards properly due to the fact that the Pikachu got a much better grade than I expected it to. The front of the card looks amazing, but the back of the card has whitening all along the edges of the card, unfortunately. It's the only card I showed the back photo of and all the defects the app caught. The app should've also caught some whitening on the bottom of the back of the card.
Anybody here that uses this app that can give me any tips or tricks on how to get more accurate readings or cleaner photos? I'm using a ring light and a light bar on both sides to keep lighting good, using a solid, clear white surface, and keeping my hands as steady and level as possible for the pictures. Just not sure why the pictures aren't being captured at the best quality.
