I’m looking into the Oil to Heat Pump Affordability (OHPA) program. I’ve heard recently both online and from a technician—that some applicants are being waitlisted. I’m trying to figure out what the current situation is.

Has anyone in Halifax/Nova Scotia applied recently (or through their 2025 tax return)?

- Are applications still being approved?

- Are people getting waitlisted right now?

- How long did the process take for you?

Would really appreciate hearing about recent experiences before I move forward.
