Photo orders on Mother’s Day weekend
Pretty much just a rant post but I am so sick and tired of our photo system, especially during holidays.
I’ve called the help desk multiple times and so have my coworkers when this occurs, yet, it’s never fixed when we need it the most and I have to take horrible backlash from so many customer every time. It’s draining me.
Over the last few days we had an influx of orders for Mother’s Day/the promotional stuff cvs advertises. It was so far so good until apparently yesterday. That being said, I walked in this morning drowning in these orders with people being told (both by some of my coworkers AND the advertising of same day pickup) that their order would be ready in like an hour.
I am so stressed out about this. The same thing happened over Christmas week: we get a bunch of orders, our system literally stops working properly, and the help desk doesn’t really solve anything until a few business days.
I’m so sick and tired of these photo machines. I also am at a high traffic store which adds on so much more stress. Does anyone else with the poster printers/mug printer/ ANY printer besides the 4x6’s have this problem?????
I’m literally looking for other jobs because of this because I can’t take getting berated by these asshole customers because I can’t get their order that they placed last night at 11pm, after store hours, ready. I’m so done.
