Curious; what's the record for most MOS; I think I am onto something here
Maybe I will go to Guinness World Records, and list my many TRADOC Deployments. edit /s
I wonder if that will count for promotion points?

** I am NG but asking big army folks here, since this was a title 10 deployment, which means big army rules **
TLDR: Soldiers gear went forward, solider did not. gear was in transit back when stuff started popping off; how to make sure SM doesn't get diddled by Uncle Diddy Sam
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was slated to deploy with my unit, But unfortunately I was not selected cause medical. I asked CO to just assume the risk, as our MOS is actually pretty critical. CO said no, It'S jUsT kUwAiT.
I was determined to fight it, but we had some kid fresh from AIT eager to go, but got put in the rear. talked to SGTMAJ and ultimately, Decided to give the kid some bennies as it was a standard Kuwait deployment.
When The IED started flying, kid folded. My team went from 5 to 2 people ( not KIA/WIA, were "sent home early")
Anyways, on to the actual details;
My gear went forward; we were maybe 3 weeks out when the swap happened. I got a bunch of new expensive issue CIF stuff. got packed in the slow boat and went out.
The fun part is, when the slow boat was now on the return, the IED started flying. I have no idea where the gear is, if it was destroyed, or even loaded etc etc.
Now, I had AT with my new unit. Luckily, they are pretty chill, and will probably only do field training during the duty day (1000-1300 with a 2 hour lunch break type shop)
Can I just expedite this by going to the state IG with the whole situation and requesting a FLIPL?
I don't want to get a whole set of issued stuff and have to worry about this 10 years from now.
Hello all; I went ahead and ordered the weather tech bed cover for my silverado LT;
has anyone seen an improvement with the bed cover? I typically commute 50-60 miles round trip a day, and I was wondering if the bed cover would make a difference
I believe these discounts are the 3500$
Costco
Conquest
GM
EV supplier
Courtesy transport
are stacked in there; the first 4 should be the total 3500$
because they forgot the GM card, the onepay dropped to 9300 ish,
I just see this as a ~350$ interest free lease.
and the "lease gap" thing is nice
2025 Chevy Silverado EV LT Extended Range Battery
I am curious, on why almost all other regions had their residuals at like 55%, but this dealer had it up to ~69%
The finance guy was ecstatic to get rid of it. he mentioned the owner is never buying one again

Edit* 2025 extended range LT
What do you guys think of my lease?
The total cash was actually around ~9300 as they forgot to add the GM CC promo
I was an out of state leasee, and it took quite a while for the manager to get a "response" from GM. Not an issue, the total came out pretty good.
my thoughts were, it was 200 days on the lot, and they agreed with me that the owner just wants it gone. my thoughts on the delay is they were hoping someone local walks in and gets it before they take the L by giving me the lease.
so to summarize, the question is: Is onepay lease more difficult to get from the bank; does it require more hurdles?

I am debating between a these 3 trims; Extended range WT, Max Range WT, or LT/Trailboss Extended range
For the extended range users: is the extra towing worth it? how does it feel when you are towing that 10-12K load?
For the max range users, do you regret not having the extra towing?
( Do any of you max range users just send it at 12K anyway?)
(All owners) What is the Kwh you are experiencing?
got a lease offer on a 80K MSRP LT extended range 10K miles 27 months for 600$ a month ( 5K down)
For those of you who bought a WT or any other trim, do you regret having/ not having the * multiflex midgate?
