Where to move for 2 years?

We are a couple in our 30s with a 18-month-old toddler and want to make the move from Northern California to Southern California for about 2 years and are free to go anywhere as we have remote jobs. Looking for recommendations for places that are lively, near lots of coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, and also toddler-friendly. Considering places like Culver City, Pasadena, and Orange County, such as Tustin, Costa Mesa, and Orange. Schools don’t matter to us as we will be moving back to Northern California once our daughter is school ready and near family. Any insights on where would be the best? We are open to anywhere and our budget is around $4,000 to $5,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.

Lively family friendly neighborhoods

Looking for recommendations for neighborhoods to relocate to LA from Northern California. We are a couple in our 30s, work remote with an 18-month toddler, and hoping to find somewhere lively and walkable to nice restaurants, coffee shops, and clean toddler-friendly areas! So far have researched Culver city/palms, Brentwood, Pasadena, Mar Vista. Any pros/cons or other better areas that would be a good fit? Hoping to rent a 2 bedroom apartment for $4-5k monthly
