So we are due to pick up our new MY on Wednesday. Everything was set and ready to go! Received a message on the app today saying the trade in offer has expired - has anyone had this happen before?
The trade in offer was offered and accepted weeks ago!
Due to pick up the Model Y Long Range RWD on 20th May!
Need a new car, and the Model Y was perfect for my young family with the boot space etc! Booked a test drive for the Long Range RWD on the website. Wife loved it, literally put the order in the day after!
But since then, I’ve realised that the car we actually test drove was the Premium Long Range RWD, which means I need to break the news to my wife that the pano roof, front light bar etc that she loved won’t be there!
I’m not too bothered as was still a great deal. But feel a little cheated that what we booked to test drive wasn’t the actual car we drove!
Anyone had similar happen? Or did we just not read the fine print? lol
Either way, it’s probs too late to change now - so I hope the wife is okay with it! 🤞
Edit: Never owned a Tesla before so was a bit naive when looking at spec etc!
