I’m a CS student exploring legal-tech workflows and trying to understand litigation chronology work better.

For people who work in litigation support/paralegal roles: what makes building or maintaining a case timeline frustrating in practice?

I’m especially curious whether the hard part is extracting dates, keeping sources/evidence linked, dealing with long gaps/dense events, or getting something clean enough for attorney/client review.

Not selling anything - just trying to understand the workflow.
