Lifelong Trekkie here, started as a child with STIV and TNG. My father is the one that introduced me to Trek, and took me to my first con in NYC when I was 10 (got to meet James Doohan and Nichelle Nichols). While Generations was never a favorite, I did enjoy the interactions between Kirk and Picard. My father passed away a few years ago, and while rewatching Generations, when Kirk died, with his final words, "Oh my", I admit I completely lost my shit. It just reminded me so much of my father and being by his bedside when he passed (no words spoken, he was unconscious and on a vent when the plug was pulled). I honestly don't think I could bring myself to watch it again. Does anyone else have any moments from episodes or films that just left you completely destroyed?
